Suggestions

We are always excited to have residents join us for Watershed Projects to ensure Reston's watershed stays clean and healthy. All our volunteers must register and complete an application through Reston Association’s volunteer system (Volgistics). Once you create an account and complete the application, you can search the Volgistics calendar for the Soapstone site for the Potomac Watershed Cleanup.

Gloves, trash grabbers, and bags will be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing to include long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed told shoes/boots. If you have rubber boots, bring those to help clean trash out of the stream. In addition, please make sure you bring an appropriate mask and abide by social distancing requirements at the event. Volunteer and COVID waivers will be provided as part of event registration.
