For 2020, the Daventry Community in Springfield, Virginia, is joining with the Trash Free Potomac Network to hold our annual Spring Clean-Up Day as part of the Potomac River Watershed Cleanup.. Community residents and other interested volunteers are invited to join in to clean up some of the trash that accumulates in our common areas and adjacent parklands. We'll have refreshments to keep you going and gloves and bags to use in the clean-up. Plus, there will be gift cards for the first volunteers to sign-up and start picking up. .

Some of the Daventry Community common property areas for clean-up are easily accessible from streets and nearby common property that are fairly level. Other common areas and park land include small gullies and ravines, occasionally with thick brush that may be harder to access. |
