What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Free parking is available at the Best Buy parking lot.

Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.

What can I bring into the event?

No need to bring anything, except the appropriate clothing. Clean Fairfax will provide gloves, trash bags, first-aid, and on-site expertise.

The Ward 8 Woods engages residents in the rejuvenation of the more than 500 acres of forested parkland with out section of DC. Join our crew of Park Stewards and volunteers from the Potomac Conservancy as we remove trash from Ft. Stanton Park, a federal parkland surrounding the remains of Civil War fortifications.

3rd Annual Roberto Clemente MS Schoolyard Cleanup

Cleanup Event

RCMS schoolyard cleanup for RCMS community and all other MCPS students. Up to 100 students may participate. Come prepared with long sleeve shirts and pants that cover you completely. Bring sun protection, insect repellent, water, or any supplies you would like to donate.
