Greenbelt Stream Cleanup
Cleanup Event

This Cleanup is part of the Potomac River Watershed Cleanup

April 29, 2018, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Cleanup of Greenbelt stream in partnership with Mishkan Torah synagogue.

We will be doing a cleanup of the wooded area around a stream that is a tributary of Indian Creek and runs near Roosevelt Center, which is the Greenbelt town center. The area is very muddy, so participants should wear boots or sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting muddy. Participants also should wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, socks, and a hat to protect against ticks. Participants should do a thorough tick check following the cleanup.

Bring work gloves if you have them, but we also will have gloves at the site. We also will have trash bags at the site.
