Residents of the Belmont Bay Community are invited for a general cleanup event of the Bay and the community as part of the District’s Potomac Watershed cleanup activities.
The Balmont Bay Community will complete the Occoquan River Cleanup stretch of over 30miles that runs from Cedar Run down to the Belmont Bay.
Residents in this Community; from Route 1 Occoquan Bridge down to the border with Occoquan National Refuge, are invited to be part of this big community event.
This event has been organized by the Belmont Bay Paddlers and the Belmont Bay Commuity (HOA) in collaboration with the Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District’s Adopt-A-Stream/Pond Program for more water quality awareness.
Free cleanup supplies will be provided. Registration for headcounts is required.
