Notes & Special Issues

1) This is a narrow trail down to the Potomac shoreline
2) There are some large trees that are blocking the path that have to be climbed over- not wheelchair assessible (currently working on clearing the path)
3) There are no public restrooms or drinking water
4) It is muddy
5) Canoes or kayaks can reach the area.
6) There is a private dock that we currently do not have approval for boats to use.
7) Trash will have to be carried out on the trail for coordinated pick up
8) Currently everything has to be hand carried to the site
9) May not be safe for children under 7 due to the blocking of the trail and depending on the tide at the time as we are very close to the shoreline.
